After a whole fill of pitocin, I was still only 3cm dilated and my cervix is what Isaac calls "super competent" because it won't budge. After a couple of conversations with two different doctors and tears of frustration and emotional exhaustion, we're starting another night on cytotech (look it up for fun trivia info). I'm feeling a bit down, to be honest. This has been an emotional roller coaster with excitement and disappointment with all sorts of drugs that in the end are incapable of telling the body what to do. We continue to be grateful for Sofia's amazing health. Though the low liquid levels in the uterus were the concern that got us to this point, her heart rate indicates a happy baby and she continues to move around like before. We are also extremely thankful for all the love we have felt through phone calls, texts and emails. There is no price for friends that cook meals without being asked and deliver flowers and magazines to brighten our day. The time with Ralph and Carolina has also been super special - one on one quality we would not have gotten with them if the situation had been different. Please continue to pray for wisdom as we make decisions, health for Sofía and strength as things (hopefully) progress.
Your comments on facebook and on here have really been of great encouragement for us. And don't be shy to text, but know that it is difficult to reply to all quickly. I'll try to continue posting here, and when I can't, I'll probably let Carolina or Reba take over.

C'mon Sofia...your prima Emilia is anxious to meet you! Praying for you Juli...you're going to melt once you hold that tiny baby in your arms! I can't wait for you guys to get to do that. Praying!!!!!!!
