There's nothing like the end of a school year to make me look back and count and look forward and dream! I count the hard times and blessings. I count all the activities I've been a part of. I count successes and failures. And I dream. I guess this is simliar to what others go through at New Years. Maybe the new year will mean more to me one day, but for now, the school year shapes my life.
As for dreams...
I'm excited to READ this summer. As I look forward to starting my counseling internship, I want to make a reading list that will act as a toolbox for that future experience. As I plan my vacation, I will also be reading for fun, so I'm looking for some exciting new fiction to get from the library.
With Sofia in school three days a week, I also look forward to some serious ORGANIZATION. To the right, you can see what
Courtney calls our panic room. It's the closet under the stairs, which holds all things without a home. If I do nothing else this summer, I have to tackle this monster. What do I do with all the Real Simple Magazines? What about the books we'll never read again? And the shelves are so small that I'm going to have to figure out what kind of organization system I can find to fit on them. Maybe I can convince Isaac to redo all the shelving, hee hee. He did it in the kitchen pantry! Maybe I can figure out how to do it myself... unlikely. The basement would be another great thing to look into, but I don't want to set my sights too high.
The last but maybe it should have been the first thing I want to do is exercise.
I plan to do it here, around here,
and maybe with this

Let me know if you want to join me in any of these adventures. I'd love to have some company!
